Eisen Sake Brewery, founded in 1869, is located in Bandai Town, Fukushima Prefecture.
Our brewery produces sake in the Aizu region, an area blessed with a rich natural environment and pristine water. All of our brewing water comes from the pure underground springs of the Aizu Ryugasawa Spring, located at the western base of Mt. Bandai—recognized as one of the 100 best waters in Japan.
We use rice grown locally in Aizu and Bandai Town, working in close partnership with local farmers. By cultivating rice that suits the regional climate, we are able to craft sake with a flavour that truly reflects the character of this land.
