Full bodied and aromatic. Notes of lemon meringue, loquat and Kaffir lime leaf. A subtle base of umami Porcini mushroom and buttermilk. 

 

Sweet and savoury with a pleasantly tart finish.

 

 

About the Sake

Hebesu is a small, emerald coloured citrus grown only in the Hyuga area of Kyushu.

 

Renowned for its rarity, hebesu is more mellow than most citrus fruits, tart with a hint of sweetness. It can be labelled a “Japanese Limoncello”.
